Today was just another one of those days… I caught myself starring at the monitor without actually doing anything, so I decided to finish work early. I was tired but didn’t want to go home, there was nothing there for me anyway. The night was lovely, so I decided to take a walk in the park. I went to check if Cubo, one of the beach bars I visited last summer has opened, took a straw on the beach just listening to the sea…
I came back home one hour later but I still didn’t want to go to bed. I took a drink from the fridge and sat at the window, looking at the playground outside and the night sky. I just sat there, listening to the passing cars in the distance, the laughter of people going home after a night out, thinking about nothing and at the same time – everything. The night was so quite, peaceful and beautiful… I guess I am a hopeless romantic, because all I wished for is a special girl/woman to share these things with…

Last Saturday as I was working on my laptop the screen went alsmost black, I couldn’t see anything. I tried everything I could think of, but with no effect. So today I take my laptop to the shop to have it checked up. The guy who doing the repairs wasn’t in the shop and the staff told me to leave it there and they will give me call later to inform me what the problem was and when I could get it back.
The call came at 5:45 PM. They told me that they can’t fix it here in Varna and that it needs to be sent to Sofia and will may take a couple of weeks to get it back. And what am I supposed to do till then? I was without a computer for a couple of hours and all I could think of was that I wanted to check something online. I got a call from a “client” and I couldnt’ do anything because I coudn’t see where the problem was. And I am supposed to wait WEEKS till I get it back? I feel like I have just lost a limb. If that isn’t a sign of addiction I don’t know what it is.
PS. Hopefully my brother will come to my rescue and lend me one of his till I get my back. I really can’t think how I will survive this

I am just coming back in the office from my “lunch” break. As I walked to the office a pretty girl walks over to me and ask if had a cigarette. After I explained that I don’t smoke she asked if I was looking for some company tonight. Now this wasn’t the first time I was approached by a hooker (I wander if I look so desperate?) , but I never expected this to happen in the city center next to the Court of Law! I guess the law IS blind after all.
Five minutes before this encounter I was telling a collegue of mine how I had friends who were charged with “Public intoxication” because they were drinking a bear in the park. As far as I know this law was introduced and accepted because “Seeing people drinking in the parks was destroying the moral of our children.” OK, I can live with that. But let me ask you this: when young women and girls offer sex for money, isn’t that destroyng the moral too? Or is that acceptable because this way people in the law enforcement can get a buck or two on the side?

In case I haven’t said this before, my working hours are not the normal one you would expect in a company. Because I am still a full time student and I have lectures in the morning I work from 4:30 pm till 1:00 am. But my working hours are not the reason I write this post.
The reason I write it is because there was an interesting welcome when I came in the office today. “Good you are here, we thought you will miss the party” Now, I know I have difficulties remembering people’s birthdays but I was pretty sure no-one had one, so I was wandering what was this party all were talking about. So I asked. Apparently the big boss overseas was impressed by the work we (ok, the work the web developers) have done, so he decided to send us a “Thank you” gift – a bottle of Jameson. Some of you may think this is no big deal (and it isn’t really) but still we are simple people and enjoy the small things. Not to mention that the company I work for has a “no drinking in office hours” policy. My line of work requires a little bit of creativity and alcohol has this interesting effect to get the creative juices flowing. Or at least that is the case with me. Anyway today was an interesting work day….
P.S. I wander, if the big boss sends us a bottle of whisky in work hours, will he mind if we get a fridge with beer in the office? After all, 100ml whisky intoxicates you more then a couple of beers

I was thinking for some time now to do the blog both in English and Bulgarian, but never got to it. But since I had to move the blog and changed blogging platforms, I finally decided to do this. There are still some things to fix and edit but I will try and translate the posts by the end of next week. So stay tuned
